i will need to find two references to include. I need to work on conveying a personal and unique reflection of myself. All the common phrases that employers are probably sick of! “Enthusiasm”, “working with others” etc. – Speaking of vagueness, i’ve made a mistake that i ironically consciously tried to avoid! I’ve used generic self praising. Even though i don’t have a particular career in mind and that a covering letter could rectify this, i need to market myself as something a little less vague. Because of the nature of the course (Entertainment Technology) my studies are quite varied in their nature. – Lack of Industry focus. This was a concern whilst writing the CV. Although i’ve tried to be quite to the point, on reflection i should be more brutal with my omissions and length. I’m not trying to convey Latin as one of my languages! – The presence of a “Curriculum Vitae” header is unnecessary.

I’m going to continue experimenting with fonts and will give an update when i can!Īfter having met Claire to discuss possible revisions and improvements to my CV, some points were discussed that i had thought might come up but there were also some that i had overlooked or not really considered before. I think perhaps something more crips with straight edges would work better. With this particular font, i wasn’t particularly happy with the curved edges of the letter M. I moved the spacing slider until the letters were spaced to an extent that could give way to an effective logo.

I’ve lost count of the amount of fonts that i have downloaded and installed in to Adobe Photoshop! If there was no kind of deadline on creating a logo, i would probably be still experimenting 10 years from now, unemployed, starving and an expert on typography.
I’ve been going through extensive experimentation with different typography’s to establish a font on which to base my initials in the logo.
